"ADGA" Rules Shall Govern
This show is sponsored by the American Dairy Goat Association and their rules shall govern.
Only ADGA, American Dairy Goat Society and Canadian Goat Society registered, recorded,
or "applied-for" animals may be shown in an Official American Dairy Goat Association Show.
Senior Doe/Junior Doe (The Sr. and Jr. shows are separately sanctioned)
NIGERIAN DWARF BREEDERS: For the first time this year, the Nigerian Dwarf will be dual sanctioned with ADGA and AGS.

PREREGISTRATION DEADLINE: Saturday, August 6 – No entry fee for group classesThere will be a $2 late entry after August 6th.
Pens will be available Friday, August 12th at noon.
CHECK-IN: Saturday, Aug. 13th by 7:00 a.m. (all animals must be on the grounds no later than 6:00 a.m., day of the show to ensure an 8:00 a.m. start of show)
SHOW TIME: Saturday, August 13th at 8:00 a.m. (Pavilion 1)
RUN OF SHOW: Senior Doe Show followed by Junior Doe Show.
SHOW ORDER: (Beginning in Ring 1 and advancing to Ring 2) Toggenburg, Alpine, LaMancha, Nigerian Dwarf (this is the only breed to be dual sanctioned with ADGA/AGS), Nubian, Oberhasli, Recorded Grade, Saanen
RELEASE TIME: Immediately following showing of your breed unless you have a doe going back in for Best in Show (Ring 1 & 2) or Best Udder of Show (Ring 1 only)
PENS: Pens will be assigned. Each pen will accommodate 2-3 adults or 4-6 kids.
Only shavings will be allowed – no straw bedding is to be used.
No cleaning of pens is required. Bedding must be purchased from the Event Center (see entry form).
Show Rules
1. Entry Fee: $52. Pen Fee: $13 (includes one bag of bedding)
3. Tack Pen: $5
4. The base date is the day of the show
5. The original registration certificate or duplicate application stamped “ADGA” office is required for all animals under 6 months of age and this must be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show.
6. Health papers are not required; however, the Superintendent or Fair Board can request a veterinarian inspection. It is recommended that out-of-state animals be accompanied by a health certificate to cross state lines.
7. No pre-show milk out.
8. Substitutions will be allowed within breed and class only.

Premiums will only be paid in Ring 1 under Chuck Pedersen.INDIVIDUAL CLASSES: (Limit per class: 2 pays per exhibitor; 1 pay sole exhibitor) 1st place $10; 2nd place $8; 3rd place $6; 4th place $4
CHAMPION & GROUP CLASSES (Pay 1st place only):
Jr. Grand Champion $8; Jr. Reserve Champion $4; Best Jr. Doe of Show $10; Jr. Get of Sire $3
Sr. Grand Champion $10; Sr. Reserve Champion $5; Best Sr. Doe of Show $15; Sr. Get of Sire $3
Best Udder of Show $15
CHAMPION CHALLENGE: (Pays 1st & 2nd place only) 1st place $12; 2nd place $10
SHOW DEFINITIONS:
1. Junior Show consists of does that have never freshened2. Senior Show consists of any doe that has ever freshened, or is being milked regularly. This includes dry and precocious milkers.
3. Get of Sire (Ring 1 ONLY) (Senior/Junior) consists of three does from the same sire, specific breed
4. Champion Challenge consists of Champion of the Day competing against permanent champion does.
5. The winner will compete in Best Doe of Show.
6. PREMIUMS: Premiums will ONLY be paid in Ring 1 under Chuck Pedersen.
7. Only in Ring 1 will there be a Junior & Senior Get of Sire as well as a Best Udder of Show picked.
8. Premiums will NOT be mailed out and must be picked up after the show.
